Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched its zesty flavor of Toyota Innova from its collection. On the occasion of its fifth anniversary Tata Motors has celebrated its supremacy in India Market by introducing its Special Edition of Toyota Innova on 3rd June 2010. This all new refreshing MUV hits the Indian Stores with the price of Rs 8.87 lakh. After having the change-over of its traditional looks it's become quite attractive than its previous ones. Its freshly fabricated front grille and bumper makes its front view more impressive and its glossy rear door add up its attractiveness from the rear side. The company has revealed this limited edition only in glorious white color, sign of royalty, for short period of time. Toyota Motors has decided to manufactured only 700 units of Innova cos of its limited edition. Toyota Innova is consistently running successfully on Indian passageways since its launching. This high-powered MUV (Multi Utility Vehicle) have the price more adequate for Indian Mass Market. In terms of technology and characteristics, Toyota Innova is five steps ahead of Toyota Kijang. Meanwhile, it is having better performance than Toyota Qualis and its previous versions.
Likewise luxury segment, the company has aimed to overdo its traits that offer more comfort and controlling. It depicts the classicism of Toyota Motors and achieved its target of becoming groundbreaker in MUV segment. This is one of the best-selling cars in India with all its luxury, comfy coast clear features. Toyota Motors has keep its impeccable dimensions unchanged but has been brushed up it with groovy looks. Now the all new Toyota Innova is coming with more spacious luggage room with its powerful and fuel economic engine and also with all new suspension system and chassis. Toyota Innova is available in Indian stores in three versions i.e. Diesel, Petrol and CNG.
Toyota Innova Petrol is fitted with 16-Valve DOHC WTi engine with the power of 1998 cc. Its petrol engine is capable to generate the power of 132 Ps at 5600 Rpm and maximum torque of 181Nm. In addition, it is compatible with CNG. Toyota Innova Diesel is equipped with 16-Valve Diesel engine with the power of 249 cc. It's adept to produce power of 102 Ps at 3600 Rpm with peak torque at 1400-3400 Rpm and its CNG variant is having an option of switching down easily from gasoline to CNG and vice versa. It is having a capacity of about 12 kg and that is more fuel – efficient than its other variants. It carries the mileage of about Rs 1.6 km/l. Tata Safari, Mahindra Xylo, Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Scorpio W are the tough competitors of it but it has grabbed its crow in this segment. Some other upcoming cars in India which are going to be launched this year are Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Fiesta hatchback, Maruti Cervo, New Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Avante.
